Founded by Daniel Freitas and Matthew Bates, seasoned professionals who each run their own construction companies, Outdraft is built on a foundation of real-world experience and expertise. With extensive hands-on knowledge in the field, coupled with backgrounds in drafting and design, Daniel and Matt understand what it takes to create effective and buildable plans.

Before founding Outdraft, both Daniel and Matt earned degrees in design and architecture, with aspirations to launch their own design firms. Life, however, took them on a different path. They returned to construction, managing crews, performing hands-on work, and eventually establishing their own successful construction businesses. This journey honed their skills in plan reading, job designing, and project drafting, ultimately leading them to perfect the process of creating efficient and effective construction plans.

Realizing they could significantly improve the design and drafting process for home projects, Daniel and Matt launched Outdraft. Our mission is to provide homeowners and contractors with plan sets/blueprints that are simple, quick, cost-effective, and permit-ready. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality plans that are easy to interpret and affordable, making home renovations accessible to everyone.
